Workshop for Practical 3D Diagnostics in Endodontics
Modern endodontics demands precision — and CBCT imaging offers clarity where 2D falls short. This workshop is designed to equip endodontists and general practitioners with the skills to confidently diagnose complex cases using CBCT data and the latest features of Ez3D-i software.
Marek Pelinka is a biomedical engineer and has 20 years of experience in dental imaging and specializes in 3D CBCT image processing and analysis. He leads training courses on features of the software for CBCT interpretation, dental equipment operation, and workflow optimization. In his lectures, he will share insights into efficient CBCT analysis and practical applications in daily dental practice.
Through real clinical cases, we will explore:
-
Limitations of 2D radiographs in identifying root canal anatomy
-
The advantages of 3D CBCT imaging with high-resolution scans (49.5 µm) in endodontic diagnostics
-
Software tools for root canal analysis , cracks detection, finding MB2 canals of maxillary molars, endodontic failure, C-shaped canals, fractured instruments, and more
